Our clubs are Phab!

Phab supports a network of clubs across England and Wales for children and young people and/or adults. Each club organises a diverse programme of activities – arts and crafts, quizzes and games, speakers, sports, discos, days out and group holidays and usually meets once a week.

Recently Phab clubs for children and young people have been set up in a number of universities across the UK run by the students. What all clubs offer is the opportunity for everyone to get together, enjoy each other´s company and have fun.

Phab projects

Our projects encourage and support self-confidence and independence in young people of all abilities.

Phab organises an annual programme of Inclusive Living Experiences created especially for young people aged 8 – 18 – residential weeks at accessible centres in the Lake District and the New Forest offering specialist tuition in a wide range of exciting and challenging outdoor activities.

For an older age group, our Skills for Independence projects are specially designed for young people aged 18 – 25. A wide variety of educational and vocational experiences are incorporated into the activities and adventures to provide an informal yet informative experience.

Holiday Homes at Waterside Park and Spa

Owned by Phab, these two fully accessible holiday homes are available to Phab groups at reduced rates. Both have level access to all the facilities, which include indoor and outdoor pools, leisure complex, restaurant, bar, shops and entertainment for all. The homes are located in an award-winning, 5 star holiday park on the sandy beach of Bowleaze Cove, Weymouth.

Gwen Peat of Kenilworth Phab Club wrote up her recent experience at Waterside which you can read here.
