The Morrisons Foundation has stepped up and donated an amazing £10,000 towards Phab’s Inclusive Living Experience Residential Projects.
Phab’s ILX Projects provide a very special and life changing experience for children and young people with disabilities or who are disadvantaged in some way. Around 113 children and young people aged 8 to 25 will be joining our exciting and challenging Projects in 2018, taking place at fully accessible outdoor activity centres in the New Forest and Lake District with the support of 98 Phab volunteers and carers.
They will be able to enjoy canoeing, sailing, caving, swimming, cycling, climbing, abseiling, archery, pool, ropes course, zip wire, tube slide, visits to the seaside with fish and chips for supper, and a fancy dress disco to end each Project – having great fun together and all the time building their self-esteem, confidence and independence.
We are most grateful to the Morrisons Foundation for such generous support and for helping us to make a real difference to the lives of all those children and young people involved in this year’s Projects.
