A day of cheers, challenges, and unforgettable energy.
What an unforgettable day Sunday, 27 April 2025 turned out to be! The London Marathon is always a highlight in our calendar at Phab, and this year, our amazing team of Phab Runners once again blew us away with their passion, resilience, and dedication.
From the start of the day to the final steps across the iconic finish line on The Mall, the entire experience was filled with emotion, celebration, and unity, and we’d add it was one of the hottest Marathons on record! We had several cheer points across the capital, and it was wonderful to not only see Phab runners powering on first hand, but also to support and cheer them along!
After our Phab Runners have completed the whopping 26.2 miles, we’re extremely lucky to be able to hold a meet and greet in the Royal Park’s Offices in St James’ Park. This offers time to celebrate their achievement with their family and friends, rejuvenate with a hot drink and some snacks, and something that is welcomed by many, a sports massage!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to all of the volunteer masseurs from the North London School of Sports Massage, who were able to give every single runner who joined us in St James Park for a much-needed moment of respite, relief, and relaxation.
And, we’d also like to thank all of the other Phab volunteers on the day offering drinks, welcoming people in, taking photos, cheering people from the checkpoints and all the other million jobs involved; as well as Mark Wasilewski and his team of wonderful staff from the Royal Parks and David Lunt at NB Consortium for providing many snacks and treats and all the volunteers.

You’ve all raised vital funds that will directly support our work across the country. From weekly Phab Clubs to one-of-a-kind inclusive Phab Adventures, every donation helps to create spaces and places where everyone belongs and everyone’s involved, because Inclusion Is Phab.”
