Hospital Saturday Fund supports Phab Projects 2

Phab were delighted to receive a donation from the Hospital Saturday Fund towards their annual programme of Inclusive Living Experience Residential Projects for children and young people.  Anne Joyce, Phab’s Chief Operations Officer, received a generous cheque for £3,000 from HSF Chairman, John Greenwood, at their Association Meeting in London on 11th October.

The ILX Projects enable around 115 children and young people each year to experience an exciting and challenging break away with Phab at fully accessible outdoor activity centres in the New Forest and Lake District, fully supported by a team of dedicated and enthusiastic Phab volunteers.   The children return home to their families after their time away with Phab with increased confidence, self-esteem and independence, having had great fun, made new friends and experienced all sorts of activities – from zip wire, abseiling , canoeing and archery to toasting marshmallows, karaoke and fancy dress party.
